Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović received kick-boxers of “Jackal” and “Punisher” clubs, who achieved great results at the championship of central Serbia in Kragujevac.
Kik-boxers of “Jackal” and “Punisher” participated at the Central Serbia Championship in Kragujevac last weekend where they won six medals (three gold, two silver and one bronze medal) in a strong competition.
From the kickboxing club “Punisher”, Petar Simonović in the category up to 81 kilograms and Vasilije Jovanović in the category up to 42 kilograms were crowned with gold medals, while silver medals were won by Luka Lazarević in the category up to 67 kilograms and Aleksandar Simonović in the category up to 47 kilograms.
From the kickboxing club “Jackal” the most magnificent medal was won by Veljko Mitić in the category up to 47 kilograms while the bronze was won by Dušan Aksić in the category up to 75 kilograms.
Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović, who thanked them for the successful presentation of our municipality, congratulated them on the won medals.
“I’m honored to have once again had the opportunity to welcome kickboxers on the occasion of new successes they have achieved. The successes achieved by our clubs show that the municipality of Gračanica has talented children and youth. We, as a local self-government, will continue to invest in sports, in creating better conditions for engaging in sports activities and continue to promote healthy and true values in that way”, Popović said.
Popović wished the kick-boxers many more victories in future competitions.
