Representatives of the city of Stara Pazova, led by the Mayor of
the municipality, Đorđe Radinović, are guests of Gračanica on the
occasion of celebrating the Municipality Day. They first met with
Mayor Popović and then provided socially disadvantaged families
with financial assistance.
Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan Popović received a
delegation from Stara Pazova, led by Mayor Đorđe Radinović, in
the late afternoon. In a brief but friendly conversation, they
exchanged work experiences and announced enhanced
cooperation between the two municipalities in the coming period.
In the hall of the Municipal Assembly of Gračanica, the
Municipality of Stara Pazova then donated a grant of two hundred
euros to five socially disadvantaged families from the territory of
Gračanica municipality each. In a short speech, Radinović said he
was honored to be in Gračanica that day, the day it celebrated its
patron saint, as well as that the assistance was modest, but
brought by a sincere desire to help those in need.
On behalf of families, Mayor of Gračanica municipality, Srđan
Popović, thanked Mr. Radinović and the citizens of Stara Pazova
for their assistance and wished them a welcome and enjoyable
stay in Gračanica.
Guests from Stara Pazova also attend the solemn academy which
will be held at the Cultural Center in Gračanica on the occasion of
the Municipal Day.
