Hoping that they will be able to solve problems facing them on a daily basis, a dozen citizens had talks with the Mayor of Gračanica municipality Srđan Popović today.
Continuity of talks with citizens, the practice he started upon taking up his office, the Mayor of Gračanica municipality Srđan Popović continued this week too.
Mayor Popović talked today with a dozen of our fellow citizens who presented a number of personal, health, infrastructure and other problems on that occasion.
Among the first to talk was Slađana Miladinović from Gornja Gušterica who was looking for a job for her son.
“He finished the Nursing School eleven years ago, he knocked on many doors and nobody come to his assistance. Three years ago he had a stroke, we sold a piece of land to heal him. He is married and a father of two children, there is nothing to support them. They offered all kinds of help, but this is not a solution, he needs a job, he needs a snack, clothes and shoes for his children”, said upset Slađana.
Rada Janićijević, who lives in social buildings in Laplje Selo, also spoke with Mayor Popović.
“I have a flat on the sixth floor, and due to health problems, it is physically difficult for me to get to the flat and I came to ask the mayor to make a replacement for a lower one, if possible, since there are empty apartments in the building”, Rada told the municipal information service.
The talks with the citizens will continue next Thursday.
