“The wind that hit our municipality in January this year, caused considerable damages to many citizens. Such damages were evidenced also to non majority families;

Families in Lug quarter and Dragolevc village, reported that the roofs of their houses were badly damaged. Municipality, as per its budget capacity and the financial support received by the central government, did its best to help victimised families”, stated in his address to CC members, mr. Mahmutovic, adding that municipality has also been very much committed in cleaning the roads, due to a recent heavy snow in the territory of Istog municipality.

 

Head of MCRO, informed CC also about implementation of the last year’s projects.

 

UNMIK representative raised the issue of non-attendance to school of 13 RAE community children in Serbobran village, on which matter no one could give a concrete reason.

The CC chairperson proposed that within a week, CC members and an official from Directorate of Education and Culture have a meeting in Serbobran, together with the school teacher and children’s parents in order to solve the issue, as the primary education is also a legal obligation.

The Chairperson of CC, mr. Fazli Stollaj, chaired the regular monthly meeting of this committee. The main agenda point was the information of the Head of the Municipal Office of Communities’ and Returns, regarding elementary disaster, strong wind and the recent snow that hit our municipality.
