During application, which lasts over 40 days from the day of opening, farmers and agribusinesses can apply to benefit under these measures, based on documentation, procedures and criteria laid down in the program and which are published on the website of the Ministry and the Agricultural Development Agency (ADA).
The budget for the program for agriculture and rural development, as well as direct payment program for this year amounts to 46 million euro, 23 million are planned to be allocated for investment grants and 23 million are planned to be allocated for direct payments. Compared to last year, this year’s budget is 3 million greater.
The Ministry of Agriculture has eased some procedures regarding the application and evaluation in order to create opportunities for farmers to benefit from support measures of the ministry.
Calls for application for measure 103 and for direct payments are expected to be announced in the coming days.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, as of today has opened the application period for some supporting measures through investment grants to farmers throughout the territory of Kosova. Calls for applications are open for the measure 101, through which supported are investments in physical assets in agricultural economies in the dairy sector, fruit-trees, greenhouses, meat, and that of eggs, for the measure 302, through which supported are investments for diversification of the farms and business development, and the measure for irrigation of agricultural lands.
