The Municipality of Prishtina is looking to further improve provision of educational services in the city of Prishtina through a Public Private Partnership (PPP). To this end, the Municipality has mandated International Finance Corporation (IFC) to assist in structuring the PPP transaction, preparing of contractual documentation and implementing a transparent and competitive tender process. The PPP transaction will involve detailed design, financing and construction of up to five new schools, and maintenance and provision of non-academic services, for all the schools part of this project, for a set period. The transaction structure has not been finalized yet.
In line with Directive 1/2011 on “Procedures for reviewing and approving PPP projects”, this Expression of Interest is being issued in order to identify and consult with interested investors for this PPP transaction. Interested parties who would like to access further information on the Project via the Project Virtual Data Room (VDR), shall submit Requests for Expression of Interest including the following information:
– A short description of the company (max. 2 pages)
– Financial Statements for the past two years
– Name, Last Name and e-mail address of the persons requesting access to the Virtual Data Room
Expression of Interest should be sent to IFC and the Municipality of Prishtina, at the addresses indicated below. The call for Expression of Interest will remain open until start of the tendering process.
Please note that this is not a tender procedure and is being issued with the purpose of seeking market interest.
